Designed by the American architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, Moliets Golf Club lies in a sumptuous setting, in the heart of a 220-hectare estate of oak trees and pines, alongside a vast fine sandy beach.

The architect's genius has engaged with the surrounding environment to create an outstanding 27-hole golf course, which is listed as one of the top ten courses in France, and one of the 25 most beautiful courses in Europe.

A visit here is a must when you come to choose among the 12 golf courses along the Southern Landes Basque Coast. Its climate and the quality of the facilities here prompted the French Golfing Federation to set up a National Winter Training Centre here, and every year, the European Challenge Tour organises professional qualifying competitions for the European tours.

The resort of Moliets has 12 km of tarmac cycle tracks running through the forest, which extend into the neighbouring municipalities. Footpaths through the forest and around the lagoons are waymarked for several kilometres, for the benefit of mountain bikers. Cycles can be rented in the resort.
